InclusioNado Statement 6.21.21

We stand with the students who were emotionally or physically harmed by this act of premeditated racism. The lack of respect shown at the basketball game on Saturday, June 19th. This event shows the continued work that needs to be done in the Coronado community.

Community members and Board Trustees have shown their opposition to diversity initiatives claiming we do not need them.

All responsible parties must be held accountable to change the culture in our schools: this includes Superintendent Mueller, the CUSD Board, ISF coaches, parents, and teachers because these acts of premeditated racism are not acceptable.

We are here to support those who have been harmed, and always offer learning to those who are looking to understand.

We support our community, we support our students, and we are still waiting for change.
